Demario Williams is an aspiring filmmaker who was in the process of creating his first documentary film aimed to investigate infant murder and community violence in Oakland. After he succeeded in interviewing the mayor of Oakland about this issue, he was shot three weeks later and put in the hospital in critical condition. Determined to complete his film, after he was released from the hospital, he joined forces with his local community center in East Oakland and a group of filmmakers in West Oakland, to tell his story and unite like-minded youth who want to put an end to violence in their communities.

This film was later presented was used as an innovative case study by the CDC and Morehouse School of Medicine to train doctors on how to use media production to treat Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. It was later presented by Rafael Flores and Demario Williams at the 2014 Northern California regional TED Talk series at Expressions' College in Emeryville, CA.
